At Alpha Acid, we take our name from the part of hops that gives beer its bitterness (IBUs)—something that’s always fascinated our founder, Kyle. It’s a big part of how we craft balanced, flavorful brews.

Since our early days, Kyle and the team have grown the brewery the same way we make our beer—organically and with care. Our passion hasn’t changed: focus on creativity, quality, and delivering a beer experience you can’t get anywhere else. With over 500 unique recipes (and counting!), we love experimenting with one-off creations while also bringing back fan favorites. In fact, we release two new beers every week, so you could stop by the taproom every seven days and still find something you haven’t tried. That’s how we earned our nickname: the small-batch kings.
